The Lord struck Pharaoh and the nation of Egypt with ten plagues. He did this in order to redeem his people Israel from slavery. In this way, the Lord revealed his awesome and unique power as the Creator God. God revealed himself as Almighty God to Pharaoh and showed that the Egyptian gods were nothing. May God give us faith in God’s mighty power to set us free from the bondage of sin!
