“TAKE ANOTHER LOOK” W1S140 (10-16-19) Revelation 17:9-11
------------------------------
Revelation 17:9-11 (NKJV) says, “9 Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits. 10 There are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come. And when he comes, he must continue a short time. 11 The beast that was, and is not, is himself also the eighth, and is of the seven, and is going to perdition.”
● We are still looking at the Mystery Babylon in this chapter as we notice that there are two sources of sevens listed here, and they are the “seven heads” which are also the “seven mountains” as stated in these verses.
● From the last lesson, we saw in Revelation 17:7 that John makes a similar statement. Revelation 17:7 (NKJV) “I will tell you the mystery {Or, hidden truth} of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns.” Yet, as we look at verse 9, the wisdom {sophia, so–fē’–ä} wisdom from the Spirit so mankind can understand it. Revelation 17:9 (NKJV) “Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits.
● Notice that there are seven kings or fortresses of authority, which are associated with the woman, and we find that five of the seven are fallen. However, it seems to me that the “association” with the woman is that she is ruling over them. So, let’s notice that verse 10 says that “Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come.” Five plus 1 equals 6, plus 1 to come equals 7. When the number 7 comes, “he must continue a short time.”
● This book is, however, a book filled with symbolic information which points out certain significant meanings to these words and events spoken of. Therefore, when people in the scriptures seem to operate within another mind that is not the mind that was in Christ Jesus, it can seem as if there is no love or grace from God toward them. However, once again this book is filled with symbolic meanings, and the essence of this book is that of the processing of sons and daughters of God. So, when we deal with any element of “sin” within the church systems of man, we must always consider the “identity” from which mankind has operated. Is there the act of sinning among mankind? Absolutely.
● However, the act of “sinning” is a direct result of “mistaken identity” which stems from a “separation anxiety,” feeling not loved, not accepted, and overall, simply rejected in life. And it is at this point where people become very judgmental toward those who do the “sinning,” whether a church-goer or not. But again, the act of “sinning” is a result of “sin” which comes from the Greek word, hamartia {hä–märdd–tēē’–yä} which is used in the Bible as, to miss the mark, to be mistaken, as in from a state of “mistaken identity.” There is no one sin that is any greater than another sin.
● When we judge, we also condemn, and there is no condemnation toward anyone who is in the “Eternal Christ.” Keep in mind that what we are dealing with here is not with outward kings somewhere over in Europe or the Middle East. This is not some attempt at a prophetic revealing of some “imagined end-time” event. This has to do with a “harlot” mindset that has infiltrated the systems of man’s understanding, yet producing a great misunderstanding about the Father’s love for all mankind. And instead of operating from mistaken identity, they were beginning to operate from their God-identity.
● The carnal man sees through carnal eyes, and having eyes, he does not understand supernatural things sees until his awareness is enlightened to truth. All of the 7 beasts or mindsets manifest as one and are defeated. Eight is the number of new beginnings and where we begin, is “in the beginning, God created” “a people” who are without form, and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep of their mind. In the beginning, God spoke to “a people” who were without form {in confusion}, and void {a lack of thought or intelligence, a.k.a., empty-headedness}; and darkness {or ignorance} was upon the face of the deep referring to the depths of man’s soul and place of deep thought. That is was when Holy Spirit was hovering or moving over all that God had created and breathed upon the face of the waters which were troubled, and peace manifested.
● Symbolically, the false mindsets and concepts of mistaken identity and of separation from the Father are coming to an end. Mankind, who are the creation of the Father of Love, will walk free from the soul-control that Christ came to free us from. Father God already declared the end from the beginning, which means that He declared your existence from the beginning of time. So, I hope you enjoyed the information brought to you in this lesson. I hope you were enlightened and inspired to “dig deep into the well of the mind that was in Christ Jesus,” as you watch today’s video lesson!
