Happiness is not a treasure buried in wealth, fame, or pleasure. Just ask King Solomon—the richest and wisest man of his time—who pursued every worldly pleasure, built temples, and satisfied every desire, only to declare at the end, “All is vanity and grasping for the wind” (Ecclesiastes 1:2, NKJV). The truth he uncovered too late is this: earthly accomplishments, no matter how grand, are hollow without God.
True happiness comes not from ritual or tradition but from relationship. Religion, apart from the presence of God, is a rut filled with ceremony but void of transformation. Jesus made it clear—our righteousness must exceed that of the religious elite. When we replace God’s commandments with man’s traditions, we miss the joy, peace, and purpose only found in walking with Him. Choose spiritual truth over empty ritual, and embrace the happiness God designed for you to enjoy.
