Are you hearing the call of God? What is your spiritual attitude? Is it transactional?
1: It is a personal call.
Each of us must answer for ourselves. He intentionally calls us.
You and I need to be in a place to hear God’s Call.
2: It is a precious call.
The value is in the nature of the Call, who calls you is the Son of God.
3: It is a Powerful Call:
A call to lead men out of bondage into freedom.
God is calling you to the place where humanity needs you most. Saving of souls.
The Response to The Call:
Everyone who hears the call has a choice to make. It’s an invitation.
The Response to The Call:
Immediately. No hesitation.
Engagements of those being called. Throwing their nets, mending, collecting taxes,
To follow God there is at times a price to be paid.
God is calling everyone to follow.
The call of God would be much easier in your life if you seek to understand what God is doing in this season.
The Life of Peter: He went through a process.
Fisherman, not perfect, but God called Him. He messed up many times but he was committed to continue to follow.
Deitrick Bonhoffer: When God calls a man, He calls Him to come and die.
The Profile of a Follower:
1. Go nowhere except He is going
2. Do nothing except He is doing.

3. Say nothing except He is saying.
a. There is a witness when you are speaking God’s Word.
God is calling us to submit and commit. A Call to follow Christ.
Not just about coming to church or getting prays answered.
Peter followed God. In Matthew 4
He has a family problem in Matthew 8
There is a reciprocal relationship. Peter then called for the one who first called Him.
Sometimes the call of God on our lives is not about benefitting us. It will save our families.
The lives of our families are hanging in the balance for us to say yes to Christ and follow Him.
