Perhaps you have heard of the Protestant Work Ethic.
- An ethic is a way of life that is held to be proper and right among a people.
- The Protestant Work Ethic is the ethic that Christians should live in their daily callings to the glory of God—

Today, as we continue our sermon series in 2 Thessalonians with 2 Thessalonians 3:6-15, we shall see that the Protestant Work Ethic is truly the Christian Work Ethic.

Before proceeding with a more specific exposition of this passage,
- I want to begin by looking at the general teaching of Scripture about work.
