The Cross Church was born through much prayer during the years of 2006 and 2007 in Pensacola, Florida. A few believers began gathering weekly to pray, seeking the Lord to advance the gospel and build up healthy churches in Pensacola. Little did this small group expect that God would use the gathering itself as an answer to prayer. The Lord has been relentlessly faithful and gracious to us over the years, and we are more satisfied in him than ever before. We can say, “the Lord is our Shepherd, we have no needs.” He has led us beside still waters, restored our souls, prepared tables before us in the presence of our enemies, and repeatedly made our cup to overflow, surely his goodness and mercy will lead us all the way home.
