The Fruit of the Spirit is FAITH/FAITHFULNESS!
Gal. 5:22-23, Genesis 15:1-17, Genesis 22:9-18

Introduction
Last week’s message began with the Great White Throne Judgment. Today’s message begins with the Judgment Seat of Christ. Both are judgments of works. But the Judgment Seat of Christ will be for many a glorious celebration of a life of FAITH – well-lived by a faithful servant of Christ. Living, Working Faith is a life of works that YHWH records and will reward someday.

* The Fruit of the Spirit is FAITH/FAITHFULNESS
Saving Faith (Faith that results in Eternal Salvation versus ‘deliverance from temporal harm and danger’ kind of faith.)

* Living/Working Faith
- Abraham – poster-child of faith
- Abraham made lots of decisions –apart from faith in YHWH
- Abraham learned to trust (have living, working faith) YHWH – epitomized by his offering of Isaac
- Hebrews 11 is the accounts of many, many who have lived their life on earth with Living, Working Faith. They are HEROES of Faith! They will receive their rewards.
Faithfulness

Timeless Truth
After we have believed in Christ and have received the gift of eternal life (Saving Faith), YHWH wants us to live by faith as well (Living, Working Faith). This is faith that trusts and obeys YHWH every day. This is faith that makes life decisions and choices based on what YHWH’s Word says and teaches rather than on what seems most beneficial and pleasurable to us. This is “walking by faith and not by sight.”

Living Lesson
When we live our lives by faith, we are pleasing and honoring YHWH. We are also laying up for ourselves treasures in heaven. YHWH is a REWARDER of them that diligently seek Him. That is the life of FAITH. And all deeds of FAITH are recorded and will be rewarded by our LORD.
