A gate does three things:
· It provides an entrance
· It provides an exit
· It provides protection

Jesus, acting as the gate, does three things:
· He provides entrance, which we call salvation
o There is only one of them
o Anyone can use it but it’s not easy
o One has to decide to enter
· He provides safe exit
· He provides satisfaction

All the while, Satan will work at doing three things:
· Steal
· Kill
· Destroy

Main Point: Jesus, our gate, wants us saved, safe, and satisfied.
