Dear Church,

One of the richest privileges that we have as Christians is our "citizenship in heaven" (Phil 3:20). What that means is that we have a King who is higher than any other, and we will one day see him! So today, to kick off the new year, we're talking about that King, the King of Righteousness in Isaiah 32:1-8. So can I encourage you, if you have a spare moment, to read through Isaiah 32:1-8 and ask God to help you to see and understand before our worship service? I think our passage for today will strike you as all the more remarkable and majestic if you get the chance to do so.

And when you worship the King with all your heavenly compatriots today, perhaps your gaze will fix on him a little tighter and your heart will glow a little warmer, and your hope will blaze a bit brighter.

In His Name,
Pastor Matt
