but the Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings

Good morning! Here is today’s word of blessings for you.
Revelation 17:12-14

12 “The ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but who for one hour will receive authority as kings along with the beast. 13 They have one purpose and will give their power and authority to the beast. 14 They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.”

Today's title is “The Lord of Lords and King of Kings”

The devil must know that he has no chance against God and the Lamb no matter how hard he may fight against Him. God is God the creator. The devil is just a creature no matter how sly he can be. God may somehow allow the devil to do the evils he intends to do as we saw in the book of Job. But the devil cannot go out of the boundary that God has set for him. “The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, everything he has is in your power, but on the man, himself do not lay a finger.”(Job 1:12). The devil may boast his power before man as he did before the Lord when he tested Him. “Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.”(Matthew 4:8-9). But it is a blatant lie. As God said in the Garden of Eden when He reprimanded the serpent, the devil may strike the heel of the Son of God born of woman. It does not last long. It is described as “one hour” In verse 12. But He will crush His head (Genesis 3:15). That’s exactly what happened at the crucifixion of the Lord. Jesus had to suffer the crucifixion. But He crushed the head of the serpent once and for all. As the Lord declared at the cross, it is finished then and there. The triumph of the Lord was proved by His resurrection. The devil, however, tried to cover up his ultimate defeat. He spread lies about the resurrection of the Lord. He continued to wage war against God and the Lamb. But we see the final demise of the devil and his forces in today’s passage. “They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.” It doesn’t tell how the Lamb fought against the devil and his forces. It simply denotes who He is. He is Lord of lords and King of kings. All the lords and all the kings whether they are good or evil must be subjugated to the Lamb because He is the one true and mighty Lord and king over them. If you are with the Lamb by God’s grace, you will be his called, chosen, and faithful followers.” If you are not, you might have to share the eternal destiny of the devil. So, have you made the choice yet?
