Vintage Teachings // The Book of Romans - A Statement to the World // Greg Sanders // Romans 1:2:1-16, Matthew 18:21-35

God’s love was never meant to pacify our sin. It was so we could carry his DNA and walk like him, talk like him, and act like him. In the beginning of Romans, Paul explains how sin has corrupted humanity. As a follower of God, we are to aggressively deal with ourselves and extend grace to others. Remain soft-hearted and in disciplined obedience to God. Resist stubbornness because the scriptures teach that it stores up judgement and terrible punishments for us. God desires for us to live with our hearts and minds on Him. How we act and what we practice is what exemplifies our belief and trust in God.
