The Sure Promises Of God : Heritage

God establishes us as an Holy People unto himself not according to the standard of society, culture or the world but according to the standard of his Ten Commandments. Gods standard of righteousness is not dictated by the councils or decisions of men or religious institutions, but by the eternal principle of his immutable law. In walking in his ways, we are walking after eternal principle and therefore we become permanent fixtures in eternity for we are following in the footsteps of God.
Eternal principle is always relevant, up to the time and trending, because it outlasts, the fickle trends and fashions of society and cultures that rise and fall with the tide of human sentiment.
To be called by the name of God means that our identity is From the eternal, In the eternal and Of the eternal. Whatever nation, kindred, tongue and people we hail from, the eternal transcends those temporary identifying characteristics and we relinquish our temporary identities that will be blown away by the sands of time and hidden from the historical record for an eternal unending identity.
Our heritage therefore is not measured by a human bloodline affected by seasonal change and migratory practices or human economics but rather from the Everlasting divine Father of creation himself.
Because Gods name is the name above all names, It is worthy of reverence, when we accept the principles of his government, his name, honor and glory becomes our identifying characteristic, He becomes our heritage, therefore we benefit from the respect and reverence given to him and become partakers of it. He shares his glory with us and leaves us not in the shadows for he is our true heritage and we are his children. ????????
