Jesus is currently seated on the throne of David in heaven. We will learn that it is unbiblical to teach that Jesus is a King without a throne or kingdom. Please join me in this video, as I discuss how Jesus cannot sit on David's throne on the earth because of a prophecy of Jeremiah. Jeremiah prophesied that no descendant of Coniah would rule from the throne of David in Judah. In this video we will learn how Jesus was a descendant of Coniah from His lineage in
Matthew Chapter 1.
Hebrews 8:4 tells us that if Jesus were on earth He should not be a priest. This is because all the earthly priests were a shadow of heavenly things. Also to be a priest on the earth, one needed to be a Levite, of the tribe of Levi. Jesus was not a Levite but was from the tribe of Judah. In this video we will learn that Jesus is both King and Priest at the same time from the Throne of David in heaven and is building His temple (the Church) which is the kingdom. We must look back and remember that the entire idea of an earthly throne angered God because God was Israel's King and He reigned on His throne in heaven. The earthly throne was only a symbol of God's throne in heaven. The earthly throne of David and Solomon was called the throne of God throughout the Old Testament. God promised David that his seed would sit on his throne. This happened on earth through Solomon, but the ultimate fulfillment took place when Jesus (the Son of David) sat on the throne of David in heaven after He resurrected from the dead and ascended into heaven. Just as Solomon was king when he built the physical temple on earth, Jesus is King building the Church temple in heaven. Jesus must be sitting on the throne of David in order to build the temple (the Church). The throne always rightfully belonged in heaven. It only left heaven temporarily and came to earth from the time of Saul to the Babylonian captivity when it was then taken back to heaven where it will remain forever. All of these things and more will be discussed in this video.
