Text: Ephesians 5:28-29
Description: As we continue Paul’s exhortations to Christian husbands regarding their wives, we have already seen Paul comparing the husband to Christ - especially as regards to the type of love is to be offered, from the one to the other. As Christ is towards His Bride, the Church, so the husband is to be to his wife. Now Paul, in verses 28-29, continues this comparison, but brings it further home, to the husband: To his very own body.
