Many people use Galatians 5:19-21 to teach that you can lose your salvation. They will argue that if you commit any of the sins listed in verses 19-21, then you're not saved. This ignores the believer's position in Christ. The saved are "in the spirit" and can "walk in the spirit" as to not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. Our flesh is sinful and corrupt and will not inherit the Kingdom of God. The point of this passage is to compel Christians to live like "Christians" and not like the unsaved world.
