Have you ever been insulted when someone defined your nationality or ethnic grouping in insulting terms?

In this letter Paul quotes one of the well known Cretian prophets as he describes the national characteristics of the people of Crete (I am sure that it is not true today) and it is quite insulting stuff. Why rub salt in the wounds of a nation? The reason - God can change what we are naturally into something that is good and pleasing to him.
