From our study of Genesis, we know that one of the reasons that Israel was inheriting Canaan was because of the idolatry of the Canaanites. When those sins were 'full' (complete), then Israel would inherit Canaan. Now this fact might have got Israel to conclude that they were inheriting Canaan because they were righteous. Was this the case? In Lesson 31 of our study of Deuteronomy we learn the answer to this question.
