If you faith is in the man preaching instead of in the Jesus whom he preaches, your faith is misplaced. Pastors are not imbued with extra holiness: we have a sin nature just like everyone else. Do not give credit to the man for what the Spirit has accomplished. Thinking a pastor sinless is delusion. Rather, every pastor repents when he falls short in some regard to the pastoral qualifications. This is an obvious distinction he shares with all Christians from non-Christians: when he sins, he repents whereas non-Christians have no problem continuing in sin without confession or conviction. Give one hundred percent of the glory to God alone and not the imperfect men He uses as pastors.
