Pick Me, Pick Me

Have you ever been left out of anything that you really wanted to be a part of? I know I have. Remember being the last person picked for kickball or not being picked at all?

Being shown and sometimes being told that you are less than others. You cannot be a part of the so-called “In Crowd.”

It’s bad enough being left out of the social groups people devise, but what if you are told you are not worthy or cannot be part of God’s group. Meaning the omnipotent God of the Universe has put up a "Do Not Enter" sign against you.

When you look at significant portions of the Jewish Bible (Old Testament) it sure looks that way for Foreigners / Gentiles. Just read Exodus 12:43, Deuteronomy 17:14 - 15, Judges 19:11 - 12, ... and I'm just getting started. No wonder there are so many people who say the God of the Old Testament is different than the God of the New Testament.

So is that true?
