Joshua 6:1-5 Trust the Process
The Israelites may have felt foolish marching around the city of Jericho for a week instead of going to battle, but the LORD's instructions were clear and the Israelites chose to obey.

We often think that God's instructions don't make sense, but let's follow the Israelites' example and take one day at a time as we follow God. Often, we will not see the logic of God's plan until we have completely obeyed his Word.

Icebreaker:
Share an enjoyable skill, hobby, or new interest you discovered during the quarantine.

Discussion Questions:
1. Seasons of transition can be uncomfortable and confusing, BUT GOD loves to use transition as a means for transformation. What has God shown you in this season of your life? What transformations have you seen in yourself (physically, mentally, and/or spiritually)?

2. Trusting God’s next steps (His process) can be challenging. What “looming walls” (obstacles) keep you from trusting God wholeheartedly? What wise direction do you receive after reading Proverbs 3:1-8 and Jeremiah 6:16?

3. Please share a piece of your beautiful story where God’s trustworthy plan worked out better than you could have ever imagined because you trusted His process, rather than your own.

4. When you look to your “right and left”, who is encouraging and supporting you in your walk with Jesus? Who are you encouraging? If you are searching for such a person, look to the ladies in your group. Consider picking prayer partners this week and encouraging one another to grow in trusting God.

Key Takeaway:
Trusting God’s process is putting faith into action by moving forward with your next step even when it does not make logical sense.
