In our lesson this week the people wept all night and complained that God brought them out of Egypt to die by the sword. The more the learned about the promised land the more they rebelled against God’s promise and plan.

They wanted to select a new leader to return to Egypt. They also wanted to stone Joshua and Celeb for standing up and challenging them to not to fear and rebel.

Their actions displeased God and he said unto Moses, “How long will this people treat me with contempt? Will they never believe me, even after all the miraculous signs I have done among them?” Num. 14-11.
