Why is it important to know what we value?

Our values will determine where our heart is headed - dreams and desires. Whatever you value will determine your future. You will become more like whatever you value. Is what you value today healthy for your future tomorrow? God tells us to store up the treasures of Heaven instead of earth. How do we know if we are doing this? I believe that when we remain in him we are EXACTLY where he wants us to be. We don't have to worry or feel fear and wonder if we are doing right by God. Instead, know that as you follow Gods lead and you remain in Him, you are storing up the treasures of Heaven. We remain in Him as we spend time with Him.
