In this sermon (preached from Ezekiel 16 by Pastor Andrew Ray), we see that God found Israel after she had been cast aside and left for dead! He cleaned her up, fed her, and clothed her. As she grew up, he decked her out and made her beauty to be a sight to behold. Sadly, she became enamored with her beauty and the attention she received from the world. The world that had cast her aside now became her desired companion and she forsook the One who had helped her and made her what she was. In other words, Israel forgot where she came from and the source of her help. There is much to be learned from this for the New Testament Christian!
