The most entertaining part in American Idol is not the many talented individuals that go from obscurity to stardom. The best aspect of the show is seeing the many tone-deaf singers that refuse to accept Simon's criticism and cling tooth-and-nail to their sick sad delusion. But the truth is, that is a mirror of who we are.
    When it comes to our morality, we can often believe that we are "good enough" or "righteous enough". We say to ourselves, "at least I'm not as bad as that person." But if we were morally good, then we wouldn't need Jesus or the gospel!
