There are some people today who say they believe in Jesus, but do not believe that He is God. They believe this, because they claim that Jesus never said he was God. However, this claim is put to the test during Jesus' discussion with the Jews in John 8. Throughout this chapter, Jesus has been trying to show that He is the Messiah, and that the Jews weren't following God despite being descendants of Abraham, because Abraham would have obeyed. The discussion came to a head in John 8:58. Who did Jesus claim to be in that verse? In Lesson 35 of our study of John we learn the answer to this question.
