Israel has rebelled against God and refused to take Canaan. God was ready to destroy them and make a great nation out of Moses, but relented when Moses pled for mercy. But God wasn't going to let Israel get away with no punishment. They would have to wander in the wilderness for 40 years until the rebellious generation died off. At what age and above did God determine would die in the wilderness? In Lesson 58 of our study of Numbers we learn the answer to this question.
