Ezekiel 37:4-6

What we have here is the law of double reference. The prophet was speaking about these dry bones as Israel, and that he once again was going to raise up a people that "was not", to be a people who "was"; a nation that "was not" to be a nation "that is".

This is a prophetic utterance toward the whole nation of Israel, but I can’t help but see the other law of reference – that God is having a prophet speak to dry bones.

In this miracle ministry, there are a number of people I deal with that are in pain, who have arthritis pain, bursitis, rheumatoid arthritis, spinal stenosis, cancer of the bones, multiple myeloma, just diseases on and on and on... For many their bones lose density, it’s called osteoporosis, and you hurt.

To the many people that are on medication, and pain medication – I’m talking to you with this Word this Week: Speak to your bones! They listen.

Isn’t that amazing? “Prophesy to these bones.” Proverbs 18 says the power of life and death is in the tongue. You don’t know how many times in this preacher, as I travel I am weary, I am tired, and I ache.  I do so much, and I don’t even do enough, but I do as much as I can, and my body screams at me and says, “Slow down, rest." 

You don’t know how many times I put my hands on my body and say, “I speak to my bones, you will serve the Lord. Master give me strength in my bones. I speak to these bones.”  It works, and it will work for you.

Begin to speak to your bones. I know it’s easier to take a pill, get a shot, to put salve on yourself – I know all that. But why not put this to work? If we truly are spiritual beings, and if matter and flesh respond to the spirit, and we have power in our tongue – why not practice, right now?

Especially if you are in pain to begin to say, “I speak to these bones in my feet, the neuropathy”; “I speak to the tiny bones in my ears, that help me hear”; “I speak to the bones in my frame that causes me pain”; that sports injury, that accident, that surgery.

Begin to put your mouth in motion, and let’s begin to see what happens when you do it consistently. Don’t just do it one day and then say, "It didn’t work," or "I tried it 3 days and it didn’t work." Keep a steady hand on this, a steady foot on the pedal. Let’s give it 90 days, about 3 months and just practice this every day. Get up and put your hand on yourself and say, “In the name of Jesus, I speak to my bones.” 

Don’t ask Him. This prophecy from the prophet is saying, “Oh son, you prophesy to the bones” – He’s saying, “Don’t ask me, and I’ll do it." – He’s saying YOU speak to those bones.

Let’s try for the next 90 days to speak to the bones, that are speaking to you, and let’s see if your voice can over power the voice of your natural physiology. I’m believing it will and I’m believing we are going to hear many testimonies.
