Jesus wasn’t concerned about who everyone else thought He was; Jesus was only concerned with who Peter thought He was.

If you aren’t careful, you could live your life based on someone else’s concept of Jesus. Some people see Jesus as a good teacher, but not God. Some see Him as a prophet, but not God. Some see Him as a Savior but not a Healer; as a Healer but not a Deliverer. And there are many people who don’t believe He wants to make you prosperous or financially blessed.

So many people have a restricted view of who Jesus is – churches, movements and individuals – and sometimes they don’t want to expand their concept of who Jesus is.

He is the Healer, Savior, Deliverer, and the soon and coming King!

Jesus is so much more than we realize. For some, all they care about is getting into Heaven, and they think they don’t need Jesus here on earth. Jesus is your everyday, on-time, every moment of every second help in time of need. But you have to see Him as that. This takes meditation, and it takes walking with Jesus on a regular basis.

That’s why Jesus told Peter, “Some say I’m this and some say I’m that…but who do you say I am?”

Begin to ask yourself, how do you see God? Who is Jesus to you? Let Him take on a bigger role in your life. Let Him be your peace, your joy, and the answer to whatever situation you’re in right now.

He can handle anything – your car payment, your mortgage, your marriage, your health – that’s who He is! He is your Savior, but you have to see Him that way.
