It is easy to become discouraged when we don't see the results we would like to see. It is normal to want to be able to enjoy the fruit of our labor. However, we do a disservice when we try to gauge anyone's Godly effectiveness based solely upon the results. The main question that should be asked is whether we did as God instructed. For, it is the case that sometimes in our walk with Jesus, the only thing that we will have to push us, to prod us, to keep us going, is us knowing that it is God who has given the marching orders. So, we press and we pray, not solely because we can see our way, nor because we can see the results, but just because God said so!
