John like Paul divides all of humanity into two groups. Those who are the children of God by being born again by the Spirit and those who are of the world. To be born of God through faith in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus is have God as Father and be His beloved child. In Him we overcome the evil one and the false prophets. We have been blessed with the great privilege to walk in a responsive relationship with His indwelling presence. Receiving His agape love transforms our lives and liberates us to giving agape love to others.
