We begin Zechariah tonight. As we look at what God revealed to this prophet we will be taken from his time to a time future to ours, as the book runs its course. Zechariah details events of his day and God answers the inevitable question of when will He bring restoration to Israel.

From a study of history we can see the promises given by God have yet to be realized, but they are prepared and will be established, as promised, when Jesus reigns. Jesus and His work from his earthly ministry through the millennium are all throughout this prophetic book.

There are a series of 8 visions shown to Zechariah which will speak of events contemporary to his time and future to ours.We will look at them as they are put forth, with specific detail and application as to where they fit historically, or future when they remain yet to be fulfilled.

The visions seen by Zechariah are so vivid and accurate they can only be seen as supernatural. This is to be expected, they are delivered as "Thus says The Lord."
