We are back in Zechariah tonight and we finish chapter 9 this evening. When we were last here in 9:9 it was just before the Triumphal Entry and we know the verse. "Behold your King is coming to you." So we saw Him come into Jerusalem, just as Zechariah said. It was a prophetic event some 2000 years ago.

We must also remember in the context of chapter 9 it begins the series of chapters which ends Zechariah's prophecy regarding end times events through the rest of the book. What we read from here on out in the book is with the understanding that The King has come. Without Jesus coming to Earth the first time and then the future, second time, none of these chapters can take place.

So we begin the closing chapters of this book with some of the most amazing chapters, still to be fulfilled in our not too distant future.
