The Orchard Church

In this week's lesson, God sends Moses and his brother, Aaron, to Pharoah to tell Him to "Let His people go!" But, Pharoah's heart was hard and he did no listen to them, just as God had said. 
 
When Pharoah didn't listen, God began to send plagues on the land of Egypt. One by one, each plague was designed to show off God's mighty power over the Egyptian gods. Finally, after the tenth plague, Pharaoh agreed to let God's people go! 
 
God's purpose for these plagues was clear. In Exodus 10:2, it says "and so that you may know that I am Lord." None of Egypt's wealth, power, or their gods could stop our mighty God. God has a plan and it will stand. Nothing and no one can stop God's will, He is in control always and we can trust in Him.

We exist to glorify God, by building a community of believers who are actively committed to knowing, applyingand proclaiming the Word of God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.We will seek to accomplish that mission through the following:
Sunday Celebration – Although the Sunday morning meeting is not the only effort of the church it is the first and most centraleffort. The Sunday meeting is a crucial component to every facet of the mission. Our goal, then, is to make our Sundaygatherings our primary concern. On Sundays we will seek to worship our Great God and Savior Jesus Christ with joy throughgospel-centered songs, the exercising of our spiritual gifts and the faithful expository preaching of His precious Word.
Home Groups – Although our Sunday Celebration is central it is not the sole meeting of the church. Our home group meetingshelp us to apply the gospel and flesh out in fuller measure the life of the local church.

Sesuatu apa pun yang beragi tidak boleh kamu makan; kamu makanlah roti yang tidak beragi di segala tempat kediamanmu." 
Lalu Musa memanggil semua tua-tua Israel serta berkata kepada mereka: "Pergilah, ambillah kambing domba untuk kaummu dan sembelihlah anak domba Paskah.

Dan TUHAN akan menjalani Mesir untuk menulahinya; apabila Ia melihat darah pada ambang atas dan pada kedua tiang pintu itu, maka TUHAN akan melewati pintu itu dan tidak membiarkan pemusnah masuk ke dalam rumahmu untuk menulahi.
