Samuel unge a David 
16 Dijo Jehová a Samuel: ¿Hasta cuándo llorarás a Saúl, habiéndolo yo desechado para que no reine sobre Israel? Llena tu cuerno de aceite, y ven, te enviaré a Isaí de Belén, porque de sus hijos me he provisto de rey. 
 
2 Y dijo Samuel: ¿Cómo iré? Si Saúl lo supiera, me mataría. Jehová respondió: Toma contigo una becerra de la vacada, y di: A ofrecer sacrificio a Jehová he venido. 
 
3 Y llama a Isaí al sacrificio, y yo te enseñaré lo que has de hacer; y me ungirás al que yo te dijere. 
 
4 Hizo, pues, Samuel como le dijo Jehová; y luego que él llegó a Belén, los ancianos de la ciudad salieron a recibirle con miedo, y dijeron: ¿Es pacífica tu venida? 
 
5 El respondió: Sí, vengo a ofrecer sacrificio a Jehová; santificaos, y venid conmigo al sacrificio. Y santificando él a Isaí y a sus hijos, los llamó al sacrificio. 
 
6 Y aconteció que cuando ellos vinieron, él vio a Eliab, y dijo: De cierto delante de Jehová está su ungido. 
 
7 Y Jehová respondió a Samuel: No mires a su parecer, ni a lo grande de su estatura, porque yo lo desecho; porque Jehová no mira lo que mira el hombre; pues el hombre mira lo que está delante de sus ojos, pero Jehová mira el corazón. 
 
8 Entonces llamó Isaí a Abinadab, y lo hizo pasar delante de Samuel, el cual dijo: Tampoco a éste ha escogido Jehová. 
 
9 Hizo luego pasar Isaí a Sama. Y él dijo: Tampoco a éste ha elegido Jehová. 
 
10 E hizo pasar Isaí siete hijos suyos delante de Samuel; pero Samuel dijo a Isaí: Jehová no ha elegido a éstos. 
 
11 Entonces dijo Samuel a Isaí: ¿Son éstos todos tus hijos? Y él respondió: Queda aún el menor, que apacienta las ovejas. Y dijo Samuel a Isaí: Envía por él, porque no nos sentaremos a la mesa hasta que él venga aquí. 
 
12 Envió, pues, por él, y le hizo entrar; y era rubio, hermoso de ojos, y de buen parecer. Entonces Jehová dijo: Levántate y úngelo, porque éste es. 
 
13 Y Samuel tomó el cuerno del aceite, y lo ungió en medio de sus hermanos; y desde aquel día en adelante el Espíritu de Jehová vino sobre David. Se levantó luego Samuel, y se volvió a Ramá. 
 
Dios es poderoso para sanar, liberar, restaurar, fortalecer y renovar tu vida. Las Señales te seguiran!

In this world, many are looking for the source of life through many mechanisms. Through religion, conscience, extraterrestrials, science and technology. But what will profit you if you discover the source of life and from you discovery you realise you can not have access to this life. The source of life is given to everyone to discover in various systems, but there is only one way to POSSES, HAVE or  be a PARTAKER of this life, and that is through God (the source of life) manifested in the flesh. That is Jesus Christ.
We have been called into the highest life, the source of life, this is called ETERNAL LIFE. In our world  today, we can call it the QUANTUM LIFE. This life is only found in Christ Jesus who is the eternal God manifested in the flesh.
I invite you to join me even as we understand this life God (source of life) has given us (1JOHN 5:11-12), which the world is searching for through other means, but cannot HAVE IT even if they discover it.

“But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart” (I Samuel 16:7). 
 
III. SAMUEL’S MISSION (I Samuel 16:1-5) 
A. Saul is rejected as king (I Samuel 16:1) 
 God’s work cannot be destroyed by the failure of His servants; He can raise up new servants whenever and wherever He needs them (I Samuel 16:1) 
B. God sends Samuel to Bethlehem (I Samuel 16:2-3). 
C. Samuel follows God’s instructions (I Samuel 16:4-5). 
Obedience to God can be a fearful thing, but it is always the right and wise thing (I Samuel 16:2-5) 
IV. GOD’S SELECTION (I Samuel 16:6-13) 
A. The LORD’s criterion (I Samuel 16:6-7). 
We should be careful never to judge anyone on the basis of their appearance 
B. The LORD’s rejections (I Samuel 16:8-10). 
​​Our emphasis should not be on outward appearance but on inward character, for this is what counts with the LORD (I Samuel 16:7-9). 
C. The LORD’s choice (I Samuel 16:11-13). 
God’s choices are not always the ones we would make; therefore, it is essential that we be sensitive to the guidance He gives (I Samuel 16:10-12) 
The LORD never calls us to do things without empowering us to do them (I Samuel 16:13; Philippians 2:13). 
Israel’s first king, Saul, had proved to be unacceptable. God’s choice was still to be revealed. Samuel was given the assignment of traveling to Bethlehem and anointing one of Jesse’s sons to be Israel’s next king. None of Jesse’s older sons was acceptable. David, the youngest, was finally brought in from tending the sheep. He was the one anointed as the future leader of God’s people. We should never assume that a person’s obvious attributes qualify him or her for highest service. We should also not assume that a lack of obvious attributes disqualifies a person from being greatly used by God.
