Joy (from Barn45 in Highland, Michigan) & many guests (from all over!) have accepted the call to lead a 4-day-a-week (Monday-Thursday), verse-by-verse morning Bible Study from 9:00 - 10:00 EST.   We are flippin' the script on what is happens all too often, that the Bible is either collecting dust on our shelves, read as a textbook, a book of laws, or we are read out of guilt or obligation. Join us as we read one verse at a time to allow a deep dive into what God has to say to each of us that's personal and ultimately healing.  You'll hear parts of Guests Personal Walk with Jesus and His transforming love in their life. So, get out your Bible, journal and favorite pen/pencil while surrendering one small part of your day to learn more about the character of God, and who God says you are through the love and faith in Jesus Christ!

In a letter to his mentee, Timothy, Paul writes of his friendship with Onesiphorus. He uses what we know to be some of his final words to describe a relationship in which he feels loved and accepted. The type of friendship we all long to have. Paul’s relationship with Onesiphorus is representative of the relationship God wants to have with us. Onesiphorus was not ashamed of Paul’s chains nor did he abandon him in his time of need like Phygelus and Hermogenes. Instead, he entered enemy territory to seek Paul out, aiding and encouraging him in whatever way he could. In the same way, God seeks us out. He breaks our chains and envelopes us in His loving arms. It is only after we have experienced this type of love in our own lives, that we can seek out others, still bound by their chains, and be the Onesiphorus who points them to Jesus.
