1.Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”

3 but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’” 
4 “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. 
 5 “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” 
6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. 
7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves. 
8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden. 
9 But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?” 
10 He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.” 
11 And he said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?” 
12 The man said, “The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.” 
13 Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” 
The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.” 
14 So the Lord God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, 
“Cursed are you above all livestock 
 and all wild animals! 
You will crawl on your belly 
 and you will eat dust 
 all the days of your life. 
15 And I will put enmity 
 between you and the woman, 
 and between your offspring[a] and hers; 
he will crush[b] your head, 
 and you will strike his heel.” 
16 To the woman he said, 
“I will make your pains in childbearing very severe; 
 with painful labor you will give birth to children. 
Your desire will be for your husband, 
 and he will rule over you.” 
17 To Adam he said, “Because you listened to your wife and ate fruit from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat from it,’ 
“Cursed is the ground because of you; 
 through painful toil you will eat food from it 
 all the days of your life. 
18 It will produce thorns and thistles for you, 
 and you will eat the plants of the field. 
19 By the sweat of your brow 
 you will eat your food 
until you return to the ground, 
 since from it you were taken; 
for dust you are 
 and to dust you will return.”

I know there is no marriage or having children in the kingdom, but will the family we have here still be the same in the kingdom? Will we know and remember our families in the Kingdom?

3. In the fall, almost all guilty parties received immediate punishment. Humans were cast out, and the serpentine ate dust, but Satan, the mastermind behind the talking serpentine, went unpunished. When I heard that Satan used to be the covering cherub over the mercy seat, I just couldn't understand how he stood the glory of God, and why God extended mercy to Him and the fallen demons for centuries going unpunished after all the unfathomable evil they have caused humans. I don't accept the usual answer, that God doesn’t want to appear as a dictator and kill those who did wrong. God could have taken away their power to cause damage to humans. Can you please explain? Why did Satan go unpunished? 
 
4.  In the context of the on going Israel/Hamas conflict. Can you give us an explanation of how the prophecy of Ezekiel 38 and the conflict in Palestine are connected, if at all? What does Ezekiel 38 have to do with the current war in Israel? 
 
5. What does Genesis 3:16 mean? It says "Your desire shall be for your husband." 
 
6.  What passages confirm that Jesus was fully man and fully God? 
 
7. Can you please clarify Matthew 18:20? “Where two or three are gathered in my name I am among then”. When I worship and pray by myself does that mean the Holy Spirit is not present with me? 
 
8. When does the day of the Lord in Zechariah 14:1-4 take place? Before, after, or during the second coming? Verse 4 says His feet will be on the mountain which would imply after, but the city is still being ravished which would imply before, but the graphic smiting in verse 12 would imply during, but that would mean His feet can't be on the mountain! Can you please help me understand? 
 
9.  How do we seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness? 
 
10.  Can you explain the discrepancy between 1 Kings 8:9, 2 Chronicles 5:10 and Hebrews 9:1-5?

We are grateful to Rhod Thomas from Gateway Church, Sarn for preparing a video for us today. Rhod was going to join us in person to preach but God has opened a door (literally!) for their church plant to begin meeting. 
 
How is is that as human beings, we are capable of such awesome feats and such devastating destruction; such acts of compassion and such cruelty? How does the mess of human relationships fit with the picture of a people made in God's image - a perfect God of love? Grab a Bible, a notepad and join us today as we dive into Genesis 3:8-24.... 
 
"8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden. 9 But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?” 
 
10 He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.” 
 
11 And he said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?” 
 
12 The man said, “The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.” 
 
13 Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” 
 
The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.” 
 
14 So the Lord God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, 
 
“Cursed are you above all livestock 
 and all wild animals! 
You will crawl on your belly 
 and you will eat dust 
 all the days of your life. 
15 And I will put enmity 
 between you and the woman, 
 and between your offspring and hers; 
he will crush your head, 
 and you will strike his heel.” 
16 To the woman he said, 
 
“I will make your pains in childbearing very severe; 
 with painful labor you will give birth to children. 
Your desire will be for your husband, 
 and he will rule over you.” 
17 To Adam he said, “Because you listened to your wife and ate fruit from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat from it,’ 
 
“Cursed is the ground because of you; 
 through painful toil you will eat food from it 
 all the days of your life. 
18 It will produce thorns and thistles for you, 
 and you will eat the plants of the field. 
19 By the sweat of your brow 
 you will eat your food 
until you return to the ground, 
 since from it you were taken; 
for dust you are 
 and to dust you will return.” 
20 Adam named his wife Eve, because she would become the mother of all the living. 
 
21 The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them. 22 And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.” 23 So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken. 24 After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life."

 They heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden at the time of the evening breeze, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. But the Lord God called to the man, and said to him, ‘Where are you?’ He said, ‘I heard the sound of you in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.’ He said, ‘Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?’ The man said, ‘The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me fruit from the tree, and I ate.’ Then the Lord God said to the woman, ‘What is this that you have done?’ The woman said, ‘The serpent tricked me, and I ate.’ The Lord God said to the serpent, 
‘Because you have done this, 
 cursed are you among all animals 
 and among all wild creatures; 
upon your belly you shall go, 
 and dust you shall eat 
 all the days of your life. 
I will put enmity between you and the woman, 
 and between your offspring and hers; 
he will strike your head, 
 and you will strike his heel.’ 
To the woman he said, 
‘I will greatly increase your pangs in childbearing; 
 in pain you shall bring forth children, 
yet your desire shall be for your husband, 
 and he shall rule over you.’

about which I commanded you, 
 “You shall not eat of it”, 
cursed is the ground because of you;
