The Lord told Moses to tell the Children of Israel what to do when they enter into the land promised to them by God. Every 7 years would be a year of rest for the Land, they could not sow or reap or even gather from the field or grapevines. 
 
The People, the animals, the land, the servants, even the children were to rest every 7 years. But they could eat from the produce of the field, but could not reap it the normal way (by using the servants, animals, equipment, etc). 
 
God promised that He would cause the land to harvest food of itself to Israel for 3 years. they were to also count 7 years times 7 years and it would be s special Sabbath. 
 
after the 49 years they were to count the next year as a Year of JUBILEE, Blow the Trumpet and Proclaim the year of jubilee. They were to return every land back to the original owners.

Lev 25:1 The LORD spoke to Moses on Mount Sinai, saying, 
Lev 25:2 “Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, When you come into the land that I give you, the land shall keep a Sabbath to the LORD. 
Lev 25:3 For six years you shall sow your field, and for six years you shall prune your vineyard and gather in its fruits, 
Lev 25:4 but in the seventh year there shall be a Sabbath of solemn rest for the land, a Sabbath to the LORD. You shall not sow your field or prune your vineyard. 
Lev 25:5 You shall not reap what grows of itself in your harvest, or gather the grapes of your undressed vine. It shall be a year of solemn rest for the land. 
Lev 25:6 The Sabbath of the land shall provide food for you, for yourself and for your male and female slaves and for your hired worker and the sojourner who lives with you, 
Lev 25:7 and for your cattle and for the wild animals that are in your land: all its yield shall be for food. 
The Year of Jubilee 
Lev 25:8 “You shall count seven weeks of years, seven times seven years, so that the time of the seven weeks of years shall give you forty-nine years. 
Lev 25:9 Then you shall sound the loud trumpet on the tenth day of the seventh month. On the Day of Atonement you shall sound the trumpet throughout all your land.

We invite you to come along with us in 2022—and listen and read along—as we read through God’s Word verse by verse and chapter by chapter this year! Our reading will only require  approximately 15 minutes per day! Most certainly, we will see many blessings that will come from reading and listening to God’s Word on a daily basis this year.  We will be reading from the New Living Translation (NLT) and following a chronological reading schedule of the Bible, which places the events of the Bible in a timeline of when they occurred. You can join any time during the year. Let’s grow strong in the Lord through our investment into God's Word this year!
