A reading from the GOSPEL according to St. Luke chapter 10 verses 17 to 24 
The seventy returned with joy, saying, "Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name!" And he said to them, "I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.Behold, I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall hurt you. Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you; but rejoice that your names are written in heaven." In that same hour he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said, "I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to babes; yes, Father, for such was your gracious will. All things have been delivered to me by my Father; and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, or who the Father is except the Son and any one to whom the Son chooses to reveal him." Then turning to the disciples he said privately, "Blessed are the eyes which see what you see! For I tell you that many prophets and kings desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it."

In Luke Chapter 10 Christ says some very difficult and some very interesting things, teaching us yet again that where there is privilege there is responsibility.  He tells three religious communities that the pagan cities of Tyre and Sidon and Sodom will fare better in the judgment than them, because they turned their backs upon the God of the Bible.  Now here we are, we won’t police our southern borders, and yet if you sell raw milk to your neighbor we’ll send a SWAT team through your front door.  Here we are, we will send troops abroad and pray that God would protect our sons and daughters, while we turn around and butcher our own sons and daughters in the womb. These are the kinds of things that happen when a Nation continues to turn its back on the God of the Scriptures.  But we have a chance to change that  -  because where there is the Gospel there is always hope.  There has never been a more important time for the Gospel to take flight here at home. Get your Word on with us and satisfy your hungry soul in yet another very timely study.

To proclaim the acceptable year of YAHWEH…

John 1:1-5
In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with GOD, and the WORD was GOD. HE was with GOD in the beginning. Through HIM all things were made, and without HIM nothing was made that has been made. In HIM was life, and that life was the light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcomea it.

God is a missional God. The Father sends the Son to redeem the world. And Jesus sends us, His disciples, to the ends of the earth with the message of salvation by grace through faith in Him. We are commissioned by Jesus to show and share the love of God wherever we go. 
 
All of us are sent out on mission by Jesus, and there are valuable lessons we need in this passage... 
 
1. The Plan 
Jesus appoints 72 disciples, puts them into 36 pairs, and sends them out on mission into the towns and villages ahead of Him. 
● This mission requires dependency. 
● Go as Ambassadors of Kingdom Peace. 
 
2. The Stakes 
As the 72 disciples go as ambassadors of kingdom peace, what’s on the line? 
● With great light comes great responsibility. 
● Go with a Message of Eternal Consequence. 
 
3. The Joy 
From the weight of woes, now we turn to see the joys of blessing. 
● Your name is written in heaven as a free gift of grace from your Father though the Son by the Spirit. 
● Go in the Beloved Security of Divine Intimacy. 
 
Takeaway: Go and Join Jesus on a Mission in Your World.

The Word of God focuses on the Gospel Reading for the day and a brief Reflection and Meditation on the Gospel. At the end a brief prayer to boost our day as we journey life. From time to time we may also bring you some Inspirational content like motivational videos and music videos.  

The intention is to seek God first before we start our daily routine and deliver the Word of God everyday to as many people as possible, wherever they are. It also intends to inspire us through His Word and make us a better person each day and align ourselves with God's will with whatever we do.

Job answered the LORD and said: I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be hindered. I have dealt with great things that I do not understand; things too wonderful for me, which I cannot know. I had heard of you by word of mouth, but now my eye has seen you. Therefore I disown what I have said, and repent in dust and ashes. 
 
Thus the LORD blessed the latter days of Job more than his earlier ones. For he had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she-asses. And he had seven sons and three daughters, of whom he called the first Jemimah, the second Keziah, and the third Kerenhappuch. In all the land no other women were as beautiful as the daughters of Job; and their father gave them an inheritance along with their brothers. After this, Job lived a hundred and forty years; and he saw his children, his grandchildren, and even his great-grandchildren. Then Job died, old and full of years.

Nevertheless, do not rejoice because the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice because your names are written in heaven. 
 
”At that very moment he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said, “I give you praise, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for although you have hidden these things from the wise and the learned you have revealed them to the childlike.
