Climbing Jacob's Ladder

Notice that the ladder goes from earth to Heaven, not from Heaven to earth.
We may not realize it but the work of God begins in the earth. It is here that the revelation is given. “Hear,” O Heavens.
There is a happy little community. A small child is run over by a truck. A family then turns from its innocent activities. It had been scattering from Christ because it was not gathering to Him.
People ask: Why? Why? Why?
The little darling was loved by everyone. They could remember her happy little face as she ran here and there with her toys.
This type of incident does not occur in Heaven but it affects Heaven.
People began to pray for the first time in years. Their attention now was on God and the things of Heaven.
The purifying fire descends from Heaven to earth. The angels of God had carried the cares to Heaven, and now were carrying the comfort of God from Heaven to the earth.
