Putting an End to Sin

It is difficult to believe that there ever will be an end of sin in the universe, but there shall be. From the time that Satan and his angels disobeyed God, God has developed a plan to put an end to rebellion once and for all. We may not realize it at first, but this is the best news imaginable.
God has determined to make an end to sin, and mankind is involved in God's plan.
“Seventy ‘sevens’ are decreed for your people and your holy city to finish transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy."(Daniel 9:24)
Sin began when Satan decided he wanted to replace the Father. So the original sin was self-will. Satan is a usurper, just like Absalom. From self-will sprang all the sins we know today, such as immorality, murder, and lying.
We who live on the earth, and those who died and are in the spirit world, have always been surrounded with a desire to sin. This desire is worse than any other affliction man has to bear. As we know, our Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross and brought His blood into the Most Holy Place in Heaven to present to the Father. Thus Christ made an atonement for the sins of the whole world.
