The first platform of redemption is that of leaving the Antichrist spirit of the world, and eating unleavened bread—not partaking of the leaven of sin in the spirit of the world. The blood of the Lamb is the sign we have left the world.
The Passover is of extreme importance. Listed below are nine aspects of the Passover we might wish to consider:
Eating the Passover Lamb—Christianity does not consist of a study in theology but a partaking continually of the living Lamb of God.
Blood on the doorpost—The covering of the blood of the Lamb sets us apart from the world.
Leaving the world—We Christians are not of the world. We need to keep our participation in the things of the world to a minimum.
Eating unleavened bread—The Antichrist world spirit is filled with wickedness. We need to look to Jesus constantly to help us avoid that which has no place in a holy priesthood, which the Church is.
Uncircumcised—No uncircumcised person is to eat the Passover lamb. Christian circumcision is that of cutting away the world from our heart.
Feast of Firstfruits—The Feast of Firstfruits took place on the third day of the week of Unleavened Bread. It typifies the born-again experience.
Water Baptism—This is a public declaration that we have died on the cross with the Lord Jesus Christ and now are living by His resurrection Life.
The Communion—The Communion service reminds us that we live daily by eating the flesh and drinking the blood of the Lamb of God
Drinking the blood—The blood of the Lamb is our resurrection Life. It is given to us in the spirit realm every time we turn away from temptation.
