We now are approaching the age of Laodicea. We are in the closing days of the rule of man. People have become lovers of themselves and are increasingly concerned with their "rights." Humanism is the religion of the hour. Laodicea speaks of the Lampstand of God, the Christian Church, corrupted by man-centeredness. The Laodicean "gospel" does not look to the coming world of righteousness but concentrates on making the present world safe and comfortable for Christians.
