Inspired by the passage of scripture in Proverbs 18:22, this song narrates the journey to Holy Matrimony. For many Christians, this is a not the smoothest of journeys as we battle with lust and certain insecurities. The song expresses the heart of a man who seeks to build a Godly relationship with a woman. He values waiting ‘at the alter’ in anticipation of their holy union and the promise of favour in Proverbs. He also encourages the woman to pray for him as he prays for her for the Grace to stay pure.
