In today’s devotional, we’re reminded that the Great Commission begins with a greater assurance: “All authority… I am with you.” Our mission is never carried out in our own strength — it is presence-powered obedience. As we go, Jesus forms us into a people who baptize, teach, and keep His commands, embodying His faithful authority in everyday life.
We also look at the Feeding of the Five Thousand (Mark 6:30–44) and see the beauty of Jesus’ hands at work. The disciples bring little; Jesus gives much. In His hands, scarcity becomes sufficiency for the sake of others.
Challenge:
Offer God your “five loaves and two fish” — your time, skills, or resources — and intentionally bless someone outside the church this week.
Prayer:
“Lord of the harvest, take what I have, and multiply it for Your glory and others’ good. Amen.”
