Dr. Jordan Rogers continues preaching verse-by-verse through The Book of Exodus in this sermon from Exodus 8:20-32 entitled, “Demonstrations of Sovereignty: The Fourth Plague.”

The purpose of Exodus 8:20-32 is to record the fourth of the ten plagues: flies. In this plague, the LORD makes a clear distinction between the Egyptians and His chosen people Israel. In a demonstration of His sovereign election, the LORD causes the plague to come only on the Egyptians and yet brings about redemption and distinction for His people, Israel. In this, we see God’s sovereignty exhibited both in His power over Creation and in His election of Israel.

The following is a sermon on Exodus 8:20-32, and below you will find the video recording and a sermon outline to help you follow along as you watch. I hope this study tool helps you grow in your love for the Lord Jesus and in your obedience to Him.
