Today’s Verse: Psalm 18:33 (NKJV)
“He makes my feet like the feet of deer,
And sets me on my high places.”
Life with the Lord will sometimes take you into steep, narrow, risky places, far above your comfort zone. Yet the same God who leads you there also strengthens your steps, trains your hands for battle, gives you the shield of His salvation, and even enlarges the path under your feet so you do not slip. He is not looking for perfect balance in your own strength.
So today, trust God with the high and narrow places He has set before you. Ask Him to take you off the broad, sloppy path of compromise and place your feet firmly on the narrow path of obedience, even if it feels scary at first.
