Nothing new under the sun? - Ecclesiastes 1:9-10 -
GOD says HE will do a new thing that we would not have thought possible.
- Isaiah 43:19 - Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
Mercies from GOD are new every morning - Lamentations 3:22-23 -.
- Psalms 68:19 - Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the GOD of our salvation. Selah.
- Revelation 21:1 - And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
Wars will cease - Psalm 46:9 - when we are all given a new heart that is GOD's own heart - Ezekiel 11:19; 18:31; 36:26 -. For we will have GOD's own Holy Spirit infilling us. We shall all be taught of GOD - John 6:45 -.
- Isaiah 30:21 - And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.
- Romans 8:14 - For as many as are led by the Spirit of GOD, they are the sons of GOD.
When together we have voluntarily submitted ourselves to the guidance of GOD - we will understand each other and be at peace with one another because we each have our understanding from GOD. [The Quran of Islam teaches that submission to Allah will be forced. GOD says 'Not by force (might) nor by might (power) - but this will be done by GOD's Spirit' - Zechariah 4:6 -.]
- Psalms 119:165 - Great peace have they which love THY law: and nothing shall offend (stir up strife, outrage) them (us).
- Philippians 4:7 - And the peace of GOD, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
The Peacemaker in chief is Christ Jesus. We are to all be His priests who ourselves are reconciled to GOD and who commend to all others 'Be Reconciled to GOD' - 2 Corinthians 5:18-20 -.
Blessed are the peacemakers - Matthew 5:9 -. [But so long as we have a mantra being touted 'Separation of Church and State' - meaning keep GOD out of government - we are not finding GOD-given peace.]
We are to be like sheep with our Good Shepherd who drink from still waters. If we want raging waters (Niagra) GOD says we will have wars. - Isaiah 8:6 -
GOD at one time had said that HE allowed HIS people to become vassals of kings of other nations so that they would learn that is better to serve HIM than to be subjugated to kings (or kingdoms) that are cruel (ruthless, uncouth). - 2 Chronicles 12:8 -.
- Matthew 12:20 - A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till He send forth judgment (righteousness, justice) unto victory.
- Matthew 12:21 - And in His name shall the Gentiles (earth's nations) trust.
