John The Baptist was one of the most interesting characters to ever come up in Scripture. His lifestyle, his clothing, and especially his message brought questions to the minds of the Jews of his day who listened to him. What was his message? Repent. Repent? To these religious people, that was unheard of. Their own self-righteousness prevented them from hearing a message that they needed to hear. Is it possible that is a message that we need to hear today?
