The Old Testament has many accounts of the people of Israel and incidents that take place in the national and personal lives of the nation and its characters. Paul says in Romans 15 and in
1 Corinthians 10 that those accounts are there for our instruction so that we don’t fall into the same traps that the Israelites fell into. The Old Testament is full of examples for us to follow … and not to follow.
