Dr. Jordan Rogers continues preaching through The Epistle of Titus in this sermon from Titus 1:5-9 entitled, “The Qualifications of Biblical Elders.”

The local Church must be led by biblically qualified elders who maintain an exemplary household, unimpeachable integrity, and theological proficiency.

In Titus 1:5-9, the Apostle Paul reminds Titus his paramount task of appointing Elders in the Church at Crete, just as he had been tasked with in every town. To aid in that task, Paul reminds Titus of the qualifications of biblical elders, namely the qualifications of an Elder’s family, character, and theological competency.

The following is a sermon on Titus 1:5-9, and below you will find the video recording and a sermon outline to help you follow along as you watch. I hope this study tool helps you grow in your love for the Lord Jesus and in your obedience to Him.
